How to Pay Foreign Tourist Levies in Bali?

Starting from February 2024, the Bali Provincial Government has enacted a local regulation regarding entry fees for foreign tourists or foreign tourists (foreign tourists) visiting Bali. In the regulation, it is stated that foreign tourists visiting Bali are required to pay a retribution fee of $10, or equivalent to Rp 150,000.

The collection of retribution fees for foreign tourists is aimed at supporting efforts for environmental sustainability and the preservation of Balinese culture. So, what is the mechanism for paying the entry retribution to Bali?

As information, the fee of Rp 150,000 applies to one foreign tourist visiting Bali. Later, the fee only needs to be paid once during the visit to Bali. The applicable payment method is cashless, through a Perceptual Bank appointed by the Bali Provincial Government, namely Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI).

However, to make payments, foreign tourists are advised to access the "Love Bali System" before entering the arrival gate to Bali. After that, tourists can directly choose the payment method to be used, namely Bank Transfer, Virtual Account, or QRIS.

If the transaction is successful, the Love Bali System will provide a Paid notification in the form of a digital payment proof. However, foreign tourists are advised to make payments before departing to Bali. The aim is to facilitate services upon arrival at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport and Benoa Port.

If you are unable to make payments through the Love Bali System, foreign tourists can make non-cash payments at BRI counters available at airports and ports. The payment method can use debit/credit cards or Electronic Data Capture (EDC). Later, tourists will receive a printout of the payment receipt.
